Setting up Roadrunner IMAP server

To set up the Roadrunner IMAP server, launch the email application on your device. After entering your credentials, select the ‘Manual Setup’ option. Then choose ‘IMAP server settings’ and follow these details.

 

  • The account Type is IMAP.

  • The incoming server will be mail.twc.com.

  • 143 is the incoming mail server port number.

  • SSL/TLS will be the Security Type.

  • The Outgoing Server will be mail.twc.com.

  • 587 is the Outgoing Mail Server port number.

  • The security type will be None.

  • The insecure port will also be None.

  • In the email field, input your Roadrunner email address.

  • Uncheck the option of ‘Secure Server.’

  • Uncheck the option of ‘Verified Certificate.’

  • Hit ‘Next’ after entering the complete Roadrunner email ID and password.

  • Next, give the account name that will appear on the screen on the system.

  • Lastly, hit ‘Done.’

 

Setting up Roadrunner POP server

Launch the Roadrunner webmail on your device. Choose the option of ‘Settings.’ Navigate to the manual server settings. Here, select ‘POP Settings.’ Now, input the following POP Roadrunner email settings.

 

  • The Account Type is ‘POP.’

  • mail.twc.com is the Incoming Mail Server.

  • POP3 is the Incoming Server Port type.

  • 995 is the Incoming Server port number.

  • Security Type is None.

  • mail.twc.com is the Outgoing Mail Server (SMTP).

  • 587 is the Outgoing Server port.

  • Select ‘None’ as Security Type. 

  • Now, you need to input your entire Roadrunner email ID for the Outgoing and Incoming username. This should be followed by you typing in your entire Roadrunner email password. 

  • Lastly, tap ‘Done.’ You have successfully configured Roadrunner email POP server settings. 

 

Roadrunner Email Settings in Windows Live Mail Account via the POP Setup

You can also setup your Roadrunner email in Windows Live Mail. For it, you must know the correct Spectrum Roadrunner email settings. They are as follows.

 

  • Tap the button ‘Microsoft email file’ followed by ‘Add Account.’

  • Tap ‘Manually Configure Server Settings.’

  • Input your name besides its section. Type your whole email address in the username section. Follow it by typing your password.

  • Tap ‘Account Type’ and choose ‘POP3.’

  • For incoming and outgoing server domains, input mail.twc.com.

  • Lastly, tap ‘Finish’ for configuring the email.
